jimy choo

Everyone has heard of Jimmy Choo and their designer footwear. However, as of 2011, they have brought out their own range of designer glasses.

Jimmy Choo was started by a Malaysian-British footwear designer of of the same name. Choo\’s real name was Chow (of Chinese decent) but it was actually misspelt on his birth certificate.

He studied at the Cordwainers Technical College in Hackney, but had already made his first shoe by the age of 11. Princess Diana was known to be a regular client of Choo\’s, and after her divorce she wore his high heels regularly without a husband of short stature to stand next to.

The company produces accessories such as bags and scarves, as well as perfumes and cosmetics. The shoes are still the most famous range though, and are what women throughout the globe want.

The shoes are made with extreme precision and the utmost care, with small detailing demonstrating the quality of the design. The ophthalmic glasses range are also designed with this same care and quality, with each piece having intricate detailing not found in your average high street pair of spectacles.

Jimmy Choo frames are characterised by their attention to detail, bright colours and luxury feel. The general ideology behind the brand is to make products that represent sensuality and seductiveness, and the glasses truly represent this. The designs are soft and feminine with oftentimes graceful detailing.

All of the shoes are made with the intention of bringing comfort like no other to an often uncomfortable item. This is the same with their glasses, and the entire range is designed to feel almost weightless and completely comfortable to the wearer.

There are many reasons to buy a pair of Jimmy Choo spectacles and to own a piece of fashion history, but what better than the option of combining practicality and fashion.
